In the late summer of 2020, the life of 37-year-old Daniel Morris Jr., a Black male from Indianapolis, was tragically cut short. On the morning of August 27, 2020, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a deceased person and discovered Morris's body on Guion Road, near 38th Street.
