In the early hours of a Friday morning in Indianapolis, the life of 25-year-old Naytasia Williams was tragically cut short. On August 28, 2020, Williams was fatally shot while sitting in her car with a friend at an apartment complex on the city's east side. The incident unfolded in a crime-ridden area, where a security guard, later identified as Melvin Hall Jr., discharged his weapon into Williams' vehicle. According to the Marion County Coroner's Office, she sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
