In the early evening of December 9, 2020, a sense of unease settled over an apartment complex on Hickory Road in Mishawaka, Indiana. Inside one of the units, the life of 20-year-old Yannick Tunga, a male, had been tragically cut short. Police were called to the scene around 5:20 p.m., where they discovered Tunga deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite immediate efforts by the responding officers to resuscitate him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
