Death by Force

On December 9, 2020, Yannick Tunga, a 20-year-old resident of Mishawaka, Indiana, was tragically found dead in his apartment at the Hickory Village Apartments on Hickory Road. The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit responded to a call around 5:18 p.m. reporting a man who had been shot. Upon arrival, officers and EMS personnel attempted to resuscitate Yannick, but he was pronounced dead at the scene due to a gunshot wound.
