In the cold winter of 2021, the life of 30-year-old Charles J. Miltenberger III was tragically cut short in South Bend, Indiana. On the evening of February 6th, police responded to calls about gunfire and a person lying on the ground in the 600 block of South Walnut Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Charles with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate efforts of the officers to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
