On a summer evening in Indianapolis, the life of 35-year-old Hassan Shide was tragically cut short. On June 3, 2021, police responded to a call on the west side of the city and discovered Shide inside a vehicle. He had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
The incident occurred outside a restaurant, in the vicinity of a boarded-up Church's Chicken on West Washington Street. Emergency medical services arrived at the scene, but despite their efforts, Shide succumbed to his injuries.
The Marion County Coroner's office subsequently identified him as the victim of the shooting.
