On a summer evening in Butler, Indiana, the life of 36-year-old Samuel Thomas King was tragically cut short. On August 5, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace at a residence, leaving King, a male, fatally wounded. Two other individuals were also injured in the shooting, testament to the violence that erupted that day.
