Moneshia Edwards, a 27-year-old resident of East Chicago, Indiana, tragically lost her life on September 14, 2021. On that fateful day, police officers discovered her unresponsive on a sidewalk in the 3900 block of Elm Street. She was quickly transported to St. Catherine Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound.
