In the quiet town of Mount Vernon, Indiana, a grim discovery shattered the community's sense of peace. On the morning of November 6, 2021, a concerned family member entered the home of 74-year-old John Stephen Hall and his wife, Elizabeth Ann Hall, on Mulberry Street to check on their welfare after not hearing from them for a couple of days.
