Vaughn Isom, a 47-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was found dead on November 27, 2021. His body was discovered inside a car on the southeast side of the city, marking the 246th homicide in Indianapolis for that year. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a report of a person shot around 1 a.m. in the 3100 block of Harlan Street. Upon arrival, officers found Isom with at least one apparent gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
