On a tragic December day in Evansville, Indiana, the lives of 27-year-old Samantha Rose Robbins and 28-year-old Derek Johnson were cut short in a burst of gunfire. The two were found deceased on December 19, 2021, in what would become a complex double murder investigation that slowly unraveled over the following months.
