On April 6, 2022, 22-year-old Tyrik Wilson was fatally shot in Gary, Indiana. The incident occurred in the 1300 block of Marshall Street, where Wilson was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Methodist Hospitals Northlake Campus, where he was pronounced dead.
