In the summer of 2022, on a Sunday afternoon, the life of Larry Wayne Cagg was tragically cut short. On July 10th, in an alley on the near southwest side of Indianapolis, the 43-year-old man was shot and killed. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 1200 block of Kappes Street and found Cagg suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
