On the afternoon of November 4, 2022, a welfare check at an apartment in the 400 block of Ruta Drive in Hobart, Indiana, led to a grim discovery. Inside, police found the bodies of 19-year-old Nazirah Elizia Ali Muhammad and 20-year-old Destiny Loreal Jackson. Both women, who were in a relationship, had been fatally shot multiple times, and their deaths were ruled a homicide.
