On July 13, 2002, the body of a newborn, later named "Baby Noah," was found at a recycling center in Roscoe, near Rockford, Illinois. The infant was discovered on a conveyor belt, indicating that he had likely been abandoned and subsequently transported with other materials. Authorities were unable to identify the parents, and the tragic death remains an open cold case investigated by the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department.
