Death by Force

On the evening of November 30, 2022, Jovan S. James, a 21-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, was found fatally shot in the backyard of a home located on West 29th Street, near Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. Street. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a report of a shooting around 8 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered James with gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
