Thomas Wesley Cole, aged 64, was tragically murdered on July 3, 2002, in Halifax County, Virginia. The incident occurred during a long-standing dispute between Cole and his neighbor, James Bryant Hudson. On the day of the murder, Cole and his brother, Walter Stanley Cole, were driving on a shared driveway when they encountered Hudson's vehicle.
