In a tragic turn of events that shook the small community of Appomattox, Virginia, 16-year-old Ronald 'Bo' Scruggs was killed on January 19, 2010. The male teenager was one of eight victims in a mass shooting that unfolded in a rural neighborhood. Scruggs, a junior at Appomattox County High School, was at a friend's home when the violence erupted.
