In the summer of 2012, a 33-year-old man named Ricky Ellerbe was killed in what appeared to be a robbery in Henrico, Virginia. His body was discovered in an alleyway on July 11, 2012. He had been shot, and it is believed the motive for his murder was the theft of the $15 and a cell phone he was carrying at the time.
