William Nolan Clark, a 27-year-old man from Raleigh, North Carolina, was fatally shot in Roanoke, Virginia, on July 17, 2012. The incident occurred late at night, just before midnight, in the 1500 block of Gilmer Avenue. Police officers responding to the scene found Clark wounded outside a home. He was immediately transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
