Pareshkumar D. Patel, a 44-year-old gas station operator from Chesterfield, Virginia, tragically lost his life on September 16, 2012. Patel, originally from India, was abducted early in the morning around 6 a.m. when he arrived at the Raceway Gas Station on Jefferson Davis Highway, where he worked. As he exited his vehicle, he was approached by two individuals who forcibly shoved him into a van and sped away.
