On a spring evening in 2014, the life of a promising young man, David Emmanuel-Sinclair Copeland, was tragically cut short. The 23-year-old male was fatally shot on May 15, 2014, in the 3300 block of Meadowdale Boulevard in Chesterfield, Virginia. Copeland, a talented basketball player, was home on a break from college in Louisiana at the time of the incident.
