David Emmanuel-Sinclair Copeland, a 23-year-old former basketball star from Chesterfield, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed on May 15, 2014. Copeland, who was Chesterfield Community High School’s all-time leading scorer in basketball and had played at Grambling State University, was shot outside an apartment complex on Meadowdale Boulevard, where he lived.
