On the night of November 30, 2012, Mohammad Tamen Ziedan, a 50-year-old male, was working his shift as a store clerk at Roy's Quick Serve on West Pembroke Avenue in Hampton, Virginia. Born in Jerusalem, Israel, Ziedan was a known figure in his community. The night took a tragic turn at approximately 11:49 PM, when two individuals entered the store with the intent to rob it.
