On New Year's Eve in 2013, 21-year-old Donivan K. Walker Jr. was fatally shot at a popular skate park in Hampton, Virginia. The incident, which also resulted in the death of 20-year-old Kenneth J. Wilson, unfolded in the late afternoon at the Woodland Skateboard Park, located at the intersection of Mercury Boulevard and Woodland Road.
