Jessie Leon Jordan, a 23-year-old resident of Machipongo, Virginia, tragically lost his life on April 13, 2013. The incident occurred at a party held at A&E Auto Repair located at 8131 Sylvan Scene Drive in Machipongo. Around 2:00 a.m., gunshots were heard, and Jordan was shot during the chaos that ensued. A neighbor of the auto shop transported him to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive.
