In the spring of 2013, a man from Virginia Beach named Kevin Winston Brooks, aged 46, lost his life in Sussex County. His death on May 1, 2013, was the result of a hunting accident. A freelance film and video production specialist, he was known by the nicknames “KB” and “Brooks.” He had a deep passion for the outdoors and enjoyed activities such as hunting, fishing, surfing, and four-wheeling.
