In the early morning hours of June 29, 2013, in Suffolk, Virginia, the life of 26-year-old Lloyd Randolph Green Sr., a Black male, was tragically cut short. Emergency dispatchers received a call about shots being fired in the 1000 block of Cogic Square around 1:00 a.m. Upon arrival, responders found Green on the ground with multiple injuries.
