Melvin Alston, aged 32, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2014, in Norfolk, Virginia. The incident occurred during a party in the 400 block of the Berkley Avenue Extension. An argument among attendees escalated into gunfire, resulting in the deaths of Melvin Alston and 22-year-old Marcus Deering.
