In the spring of 2014, the life of 40-year-old Ronald Glover Sr. was tragically cut short in Petersburg, Virginia. On the evening of April 15th, police were called to the 400 block of Kentucky Avenue, where they discovered Glover suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The investigation into the death of the male victim quickly pointed to a suspect, prompting the Petersburg Bureau of Police to issue a warrant
for first-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. The man sought in connection with the fatal shooting was identified as 23-year-old Travis L. Taylor of Petersburg.
A little over a week after the incident, on April 24th, Taylor voluntarily surrendered to the authorities. He was subsequently arrested and held at the Petersburg City Jail. The investigation suggested that the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Glover and Taylor.
