Meriam Macario Kurosawa, aged 40, tragically passed away on December 28, 2014, in Yorktown, Virginia. Born on June 28, 1974, in the Philippines, Meriam was a dedicated cafeteria worker for Sodexo and an active member of her community, participating in various organizations such as the Philippine-American Community of the Peninsula and the One Heart for Hope Foundation. She was also a devoted member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, where she volunteered for youth programs.
