Kevin Scott Smith, aged 42, tragically passed away on May 14, 2015, in Rocky Mount, Virginia. According to reports, Smith was found deceased in the yard of a residence on Holley Drive. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene shortly after 8 p.m. on the night of the incident. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Smith's body and took 48-year-old Randall Neil Hodges into custody without incident.
