Tony Dimitri Bruce, a 26-year-old resident of Rocky Mount, Virginia, tragically lost his life on June 17, 2019. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Bland Street, where officers responded to reports of shots fired around 7:40 PM. Upon arrival, they found Bruce suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite being transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
