Jacques B. Gauthier, 45, a man from the Richmond area, was found in the street on August 17, 2015, after police were called to the 5400 block of Edgefield Street in Henrico County for what was reported as a firearm violation. When officers arrived, they discovered him lying in the roadway with severe head trauma. He was rushed to a hospital, but he died later that day, and authorities said the cause of death was a gunshot wound.
