Shaolin Chandam, a 25-year-old resident of Hampton, Virginia, tragically lost his life on August 25, 2015. Originally from Imphal, Manipur, India, Shaolin had moved to Hampton, where he was residing at the time of his death. On that fateful day, Hampton police responded to a call at an apartment complex on LaSalle Avenue, where they found Shaolin with multiple gunshot wounds.
