India Kager, a 27-year-old Navy veteran and mother, was tragically killed on September 5, 2015, in Virginia Beach, VA. Kager was in a car with her partner, Angelo Perry, and their 4-month-old son when the incident occurred. Perry was a known suspect in several violent crimes, including shootings and robbery. On that fateful night, Virginia Beach SWAT officers, who had been tracking Perry, planned a vehicle takedown operation, believing Perry was about to commit another violent crime.
