In the winter of 2015, the community of Williamsburg, Virginia, was shaken by the violent death of 22-year-old Peter Ainsley Girvan. On the night of December 28th, gunshots echoed through the 1100 block of Wilkins Drive in nearby York County. When the noise subsided, Girvan, a male resident of James City County, had been fatally wounded in the street.
