In the early morning hours of February 22, 2016, the life of 35-year-old Jermaine Antonio Jackson was tragically cut short in Hampton, Virginia. Responding to a call of shots fired just before 4 a.m. in the 500 block of Powhatan Parkway, police discovered Jackson inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 4:23 a.m.
