Jesse Gomez, a 23-year-old resident of Fresno, California, was fatally shot on November 23, 2017. The incident took place as Gomez was standing on the sidewalk near Olive Street on the west side of First Street in Southeast Fresno. According to reports, Gomez was approached by an assailant, later identified as Gonzalez, who shot and killed him.
