In the early hours of July 2, 2017, the life of 28-year-old Phineas Rufus Neville was tragically cut short in Lynchburg, Virginia. Responding to a call, police found Neville at an apartment complex on Rivermont Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds. He was a Black male who was also known to some as Ebony Morgan. Emergency services transported him to Lynchburg General Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
