A quiet Sunday morning in Williamsburg, Virginia, was shattered by the sound of gunfire on September 17, 2017. Responding to reports of a shooting near Mooretown and Ewell Road around 8:44 a.m., deputies from the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office arrived to a grim scene. They discovered 33-year-old Raheem Antonia King, a resident of Williamsburg, deceased from a gunshot wound. Nearby, a woman was found with a gunshot wound to her leg and was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
