In the pre-dawn hours of December 22, 2017, Scott Fricker, a 48-year-old man, and his wife, Buckley Kuhn-Fricker, were fatally shot in their Reston, Virginia, home. The tragedy unfolded just days before Christmas as the couple had gathered with family for the holiday. The suspect was their 16-year-old daughter's 17-year-old boyfriend, Nicholas Giampa.
