Anthony Joseph Trovata, aged 32, tragically lost his life on May 8, 2018, in Salem, Virginia. The incident occurred at a GoMart convenience store on West Main Street, where Trovata was fatally shot. According to reports, the shooting took place in the early hours of the morning, and Trovata was transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
