In the winter of 2018, a 20-year-old woman named Diamond Moore was fatally shot in Alexandria, Virginia. On the morning of Friday, December 7, 2018, police responded to a call about a possible shooting in the 5500 block of Holmes Run Parkway. Upon arrival at approximately 9:46 a.m., officers discovered Moore on the street with an injury to her upper body.
