Husain El-Amin, aged 59, tragically lost his life on March 12, 2019, in Richmond, Virginia. El-Amin was a well-respected member of the community, known for his dedication to helping others. He worked at homeless shelters, mentored youth, provided housing for those in need, and was a certified state home inspector for Commonwealth Catholic Charities. His commitment to criminal justice reform and his efforts to turn his past into a path for redemption were widely recognized and appreciated.
