In the spring of 2019, a young man's life was tragically cut short in a violent encounter on the south side of Richmond, Virginia. Samuel Flaugher, a 19-year-old male, was a recent graduate of Thomas Dale High School and a student at John Tyler Community College. On the evening of April 15th, he found himself in the 4000 block of Meridian Avenue, where an altercation would leave him with a fatal gunshot wound.
