In the evening hours of a spring day in Richmond, Virginia, the life of 25-year-old Trequan R. Hardy was tragically cut short. On May 1, 2019, at approximately 8:17 p.m., police officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Fairfield Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Hardy on a sidewalk, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound.
