Ashraf Mahasees, a 23-year-old store clerk, was tragically killed on November 30, 2019, in Richmond, Virginia. Mahasees, originally from Jordan, was working at the K Food Store on Midlothian Turnpike when the incident occurred. Police responded to a report of a person shot at approximately 11:05 p.m. and found Mahasees suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene^1^.
