Krystal Anne McReynolds, a 34-year-old woman from Bassett, Virginia, tragically lost her life on February 18, 2020, in Fieldale, Virginia. McReynolds, who was four to five months pregnant at the time, was found with a gunshot wound to the face outside a residence on Fourth Street in Fieldale. Despite being rushed to SOVAH Health in Martinsville and later transferred to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, both McReynolds and her unborn child succumbed to their injuries.
