Karen Elizabeth Canard Quarles, aged 43, tragically passed away on January 19, 2010, in Appomattox, Virginia. She was born on May 6, 1966, in Norfolk, Virginia, and was a dedicated respiratory therapist at Centra Health for 11 years. On the day of her death, she was accompanied by her husband of 18 years, Jon Quarles, and their daughter, Emily, who also passed away in the same incident.
