On a Saturday evening in Barren Springs, Virginia, the life of 30-year-old Chad Allan Norris was cut short in an act of domestic violence. On September 19, 2020, Wythe County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call about a shooting at a residence on Vineland Drive. Upon their arrival, they discovered Norris in the yard, deceased from a gunshot wound to the chest.
