In the quiet community of Mechanicsville, Virginia, the life of 23-year-old Jacob Dwayne Martin, a White / Caucasian male, was abruptly cut short on the evening of March 4, 2021. Around 10 p.m., authorities were called to the 8000 block of Bell Creek Road in response to a reported shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Martin suffering from a gunshot wound.
